The short version is that I’m a tech-loving, ex-Microsoft productivity guru and the founder of Storyals and Business Productivity. I love storytelling and sharing my knowledge to help others succeed in the digital workplace. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been passionate about technology. Right after high-school, in 1995, I started working in a computer store called DGC in my home-town Stockholm. I loved it and decided to pursue a career within technology and got a master’s degree in electrical engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, (KTH). During my studies, I started working part time for Microsoft. I toured the country telling people how great SQL Server 7.0 and OLAP cubes were! After graduating in 2001, I started working full time for Microsoft in Sweden.
In 2007 I moved to Dubai and started working for Microsoft Gulf, covering the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. I started as a Solution Specialist focusing on Enterprise Content Management, Business Intelligence and Unified Communication.
In 2011, after finishing a Master of Business from London Business School (and having our first baby) I resigned from Microsoft and founded my first company – Business Productivity. They idea was to help companies drive more effective usage of Microsoft software by providing them with short, scenario-based tutorials. This was very well received and after a few years (and two more babies), a whole new concept – and company was born.
In 2018, I founded Storyals. The name derives from “story-based tutorials”. Storyals provides organizations with a subscription to always up to date, real-life, story-based, educational videos that they can use to INSPIRE, MOTIVATE and EDUCATE their employees on how to effectively use Office 365.
Even though I’m extremely busy running two companies (and running after three little kids), I’m still actively engaged in helping others.
